Melissa Keckler takes on the tasks of political and campaign consulting, in addition to lobbying at the municipal and state levels of government.
Melissa's experience includes political and campaign consulting at the state and municipal levels on behalf of candidates from both the Republican and Democratic Parties. Additionally, Melissa has worked on a wide variety of ballot measures, or issue campaigns, on behalf of the education, public safety and healthcare communities, to name a few. Melissa has also been successful in the areas of overall campaign strategic planning, message and issue development, community outreach and awareness, and media relations.
In addition to campaign consulting, Melissa has lobbied at the federal, state and municipal levels of government. Her proficient experience in state and municipal interest development; experience in grassroots coordination and issue development; organizing existing stakeholders while identifying, recruiting, and mobilizing new supporters has proven to be invaluable.
Melissa's proficiencies include topics such as voting rights, education, economic development, non-profits interests, renewable energy, social issues, humane issues, among others.
Melissa was nominated for the Athena Award in 2011; is the current Vice President of Alpha Kappa Psi Phoenix Alumni Chapter; and is involved with various non-profit community organizations throughout the Valley.
As a native to Arizona, Melissa graduated in December 2007 from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a Concentration in Public Policy Advocacy and Lobbying. During her college tenure, she was a member and officer of Alpha Kappa Psi, a professional business fraternity, and was very involved in various campus activities with experience in event planning, fundraising, and promoting community involvement.
